The fabric breathes to keep your horse dry, allows sweat and moisture to breathe out to eliminate chills. The outer shell has a special PU Coat to provide ultimate waterproofing the best money can buy. Cotton lined rug for extra breathability. Lighter filled Satin lined Neck provides complete protection from nature’s elements .Satinlined key rubbing areas like chest, shoulder and tail flap. Neck Pleat provides more comfort and movement and reduces rubbing.

All Unicorn Synthetic Rugs and Combos are rated to a waterproof rating of at least 3000MM - more than twice the minimum requirements. Our synthetic rugs also have a breathability rating of at least 3500gr/m2/per24hrs. The hi-tech manufacturing process ensures that the denier fabric works to keep water out - but allows the humid/moist air to escape out through the material keeping your horse dry and eliminating chills. So you can rest assured that your horse will be snug in the worst of weather.

Water resistance and breathability for the fabric are checked through following methods JIS L1092B and ASTM E96BW respectively. Test reports available if required.
